Brendan Kadey
B. 1989 Milton Keynes, UK
Brendan grew up in Springfield Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri with an undergraduate Psychology degree. During the summer of 2009 Brendan was slightly bored and began tinkering in the university craft studio. He quickly became infatuated with the challenge of painting and focused primarily on art while finishing his Psych degree.
During his time at Mizzou, Brendan was fortunate enough to be taught by Jessica Thornton, David Spear, and Nathan Boyer. Each professor bringing incredible depth and critique into an early career was jarring and beneficial.
Once Brendan left Missouri he discovered music festivals, and peers that were making a life of art, which was also inspiring.
Brendan has taught in public schools, summer camps, and private schools for many years. Today he is enjoying painting full time in Superior, Colorado.
