This was an early acquisition in my decent into collecting madness, and one of the first from an artist I hadn’t met in person. This really opened up the floodgates, as I was more eager to pursue aesthetics that I enjoyed despite the personal connection with the creator. It was an incredible experience to see my friend Ryan of @thecrowncollection take his passion for collecting, connecting, and curating, and turn it into a tangible business. He remains a HUGE inspiration to me

This painting was a wonderful segue from more traditional interests with objective, clearly defined subjects, into more abstract and psychedelic imagery. Something you can define and understand, with elements of the intangible, patterns and musings from the subconscious.

I am so honored to have the intrepid @omeka_one on board the MAD House roster. Since snagging this piece, Gabriel and I have connected across the country in nature, on the city streets, and at numerous festivals and art shows. He described this piece by saying “I’ve never been skiing or snowboarding. But I imagine it must FEEL like this painting!” These fun nuggets of information and imagination are what I hope to share with you as we ωειçømε ÿôú τō τhė MΔD H0üšè.
